March 2012 Salon!

We had a fabulous time welcoming Maya Rodale, guest reader and founding member of Lady Jane's Salon NYC to our March salon!

Maya reading from her new release: The Tattooed Duke.

Deb Marlowe also read from her newest, Tall, Dark and Disreputable.

We were all severely disappointed when family illness kept Aimee Laine from joining us. We were very grateful, however, when LJS RDU director Claudia Dain agreed to step in. We were even more grateful when she gave us a taste of her much anticipated book, Much Ado About Dutton!

Our March Readers, with Ava Stone/Lydia Dare, director of LJS RDU

Our fabulous crowd--thanks for making Lady Jane's Salon RDU such a fun evening!

At the March Salon, Come Hear...

Golden Heart winner, Rita finalist, and our own DEB MARLOWE will read from her latest North American release TALL, DARK, AND DISREPUTABLE.

She must make a deal with the devil himself!

Portia Tofton has always yearned for brooding Mateo Cardea. His dark good-looks filled her girlish dreams--dreams that were cruelly shattered when Mateo rejected her hand in marriage.
Now Portia's home has been gambled away, and Mateo is the only man she can turn to.

This time, however, she has in her possession something he wants--and she finds herself striking a deal with the devil himself.

AIMEE LAINE is back at the Salon! She will be reading from her latest release, HIDE AND SEEK.

Lie, cheat or steal, no one can catch Tripp Fox. Except one woman.

Lexi Shepherd’s knack for finding whatever is asked of her isn’t sheer luck. It’s a gift from the Greek god Zeus. That Lexi doesn’t use her ability to search for “Mr. Right” comes from one of many personal rules she has set for herself. Number one is not to let fate dictate her future.

Falling in love with Tripp breaks all the others.

Despite her principles, Lexi’s unable to stay away from the bad boy, and she finds herself toeing the grey line of the law for him. Zeus, though, didn’t give Lexi and Tripp their talents to make their relationship a simple, easy alliance. He designed it to be exactly the opposite. Impossible. Always.

With their separation, Lexi expects Tripp to forfeit love in favor of destiny. He, on the other hand, intends to beat Zeus at his own game. With a plan in place, Tripp challenges Lexi to take the one action no one else can.

Find him.

The question isn’t can she ... but will she?

And all the way from the Big Apple, one of the founding members of the original Lady Jane's Salon - MAYA RODALE will read from THE TATTOOED DUKE.

Breaking news, scandal fans:

You thought you knew the dangerous Duke of Wycliff, London's globe-trotting adventure addict. Here's what you don't know: he's penniless. Sebastian Digby's dukely lifestyle is over forever unless he finds a rich bride. But thanks to The London Weekly, everyone knows better than to tangle with this lothario. Besides (as one writer can testify), it seems that Sebastian has been unable to keep his hands of his own lowly housemaid...

And that's a problem. A big one.

Because that housemaid just happens to be me. Eliza Fielding. The same undercover Writing Girl who's been exposing the Duke's most intimate secrets to the world. And now I've gone and complicated everything by falling love with him. Passion and deception have never been so delicious, but now the truth could destroy everything. This is more than a conflict of interest. It's a seduction where love itself hangs in the balance.
