Our New Location, Our First Salon of 2014!

We had a great night at our first LJS RDU Salon of 2014!  Our new location is a hit!  The food got rave reviews, the staff was friendly and efficient, and we had the beautiful, spacious cafe
to ourselves.  And we couldn't have asked for a more entertaining group of readers!

DB Starler started us off with her short urban fantasy, Good Ghoul Gone Bad

Debut YA author Elizabeth Langston introduced us to Whisper Falls.  And we got a special treat when her daughter read her selection!

Sabrina Jeffries rounded off the night with a fun and flighty reading from When the Rogue Returns.

We'd like to thank our new friends and our old who came out to make it a great night!

See you in March!

Amazing Authors, New Location, Same Salon...

If you haven't already heard... Lady Jane's Salon Raleigh-Durham is moving!! Our new location is at ANOTHER BROKEN EGG CAFE in Morrisville inside the Park Place shopping complex - 1121 Market Center Drive, Morrisville NC 27560.

We are so excited about our new location!  And we hope you can be with us this month as we re-welcome Sabrina Jeffries, D.B Starler, and Elizabeth Langston...

New York Times Bestselling Author - SABRINA JEFFRIES will read from WHEN THE ROGUE RETURNS, the latest release in her Duke's Men series...

They are the Duke’s Men: an investigative agency born from family pride and irresistible passion, risking their lives—and sometimes their hearts—as they unravel shocking deceptions and scandalous transgressions!

Victor Cale never imagined that his sweet, shy bride, Isabella, would use her talent for creating exquisite imitation jewels in a criminal way. But there’s no denying that Isa’s handiwork was used in the brazen heist of the Dutch royal family’s diamonds—after she disappeared into the night.

Ten years later, still reeling from her betrayal and enraged that her duplicitous side was so undetectable, Victor is sent to Edinburgh to investigate a wealthy baron’s mysterious brideto- be. Simple enough—until the “fiancĂ©e” proves to be Isa, masquerading as an alluring young widow.

No longer the meek and mild girl he once knew, the bold woman vehemently asserts that it was Victor who abandoned her after he helped steal the royal diamonds! Piecing together the truth of the past reawakens their volatile passion, which burns hotter than ever. But with a decade of secrets between them, Victor and Isa must trust each other in order to bring the real thieves to justice—without getting burned themselves.

D.B. STARLER will read from her short story GOOD GHOUL GONE BAD from Fireside Fiction Co.

In the three years since her death, and reincarnation as a ghoul, Lola LaRue has been flying beneath the radar. Her luck ran out a few months ago, however, when she started being blackmailed by a mysterious businessman. At first, it was a small odd job here and there, nothing alarming. But now he's demanding the impossible, and the stakes are high enough that Lola can't refuse.  To make it worse, the only hope for completing her task is to recruit the one person she vowed never to see again, unless she was exacting revenge for her death.

And ELIZABETH LANGSTON will also read from her debut Young Adult release - WHISPER FALLS.

While training for a mountain bike race, high-school senior Mark Lewis spots a mysterious girl dressed in odd clothing, standing behind a waterfall in the woods near his North Carolina home.   When she comments on the strange machine that he rides, he suspects something isn't right. When Susanna claims to be an indentured servant from 1796, he wonders if she's crazy. Yet he feels compelled to find out more.  Mark enters a 'long-distance' relationship with Susanna through the shimmering--and temperamental--barrier of Whisper Falls. Curious about her world, Mark combs through history to learn about the brutal life she's trapped in. But knowledge can be dangerous. Soon he must choose between the risk of changing history or dooming the girl he can't stop thinking about to a lifetime of misery.
