It's Time For Spring AND Our April Salon!

Just as a reminder on our new location, if you haven't been to the Salon since our change in venues... We're certain you'll continue to love our new location (and the menu) at ANOTHER BROKEN EGG CAFE at 1121 Market Center Drive, Morrisville. The shopping center  *is* fairly new and not in all GPSs. So, if it doesn't show up in yours, the cross streets are Cary Parkway and Chapel Hill Rd (Highway 54).  There is a lot of parking, but the spaces do fill up in this popular spot. So, feel free to arrive as early as 6:30pm.

Now onto this month's authors...

We hope you can be with us this month as we welcome Jennifer Delamere, Reese Ryan, and Susan and Clay Griffith...

JENNIFER DELAMERE will read from A LADY MOST LOVELY, the second in her Love's Grace Trilogy.

Socialite Margaret Vaughn is the wealthiest heiress in London—or so everybody thinks. Saddled with debt left by her father, she agrees to marry a rich man who can save her family’s estate. But when her fiancĂ© turns out to be just another poor social climber, Margaret faces financial ruin—and social humiliation. Just when she thinks all is lost, she finds an unlikely savior in Tom Poole . . .

After amassing a fortune in the gold fields of Australia and surviving a harrowing shipwreck, Tom Poole is the toast of London society. Yet despite his newfound fame, he’s never forgotten his own humble beginnings. When he learns of Margaret’s plight, he offers her financial assistance—but his interest is not strictly business. This rugged adventurer now seeks a different kind of gold. Although many men pursue Margaret’s hand because of her beauty and lands, can Tom convince her it’s her heart he’s after?

Married writing team CLAY and SUSAN GRIFFITH will read from THE GREYFRIAR, the first in their Vampire Empire Steampunk series.

In the year 1870, a horrible plague of vampires swept over the northern regions of the world. Millions of humans were killed outright. Millions more died of disease and famine due to the havoc that followed. Within two years, once-great cities were shrouded by the gray empire of the vampire clans. Human refugees fled south to the tropics because vampires could not tolerate the constant heat there. They brought technology and a feverish drive to reestablish their shattered societies of steam and iron amid the mosques of Alexandria, the torrid quietude of Panama, or the green temples of Malaya. It is now 2020 and a bloody reckoning is coming.

Princess Adele is heir to the Empire of Equatoria, a remnant of the old tropical British Empire. She is quick with her wit as well as with a sword or gun. She is eager for an adventure before she settles into a life of duty and political marriage to a man she does not know. But her quest turns black when she becomes the target of a merciless vampire clan. Her only protector is the Greyfriar, a mysterious hero who fights the vampires from deep within their territory. Their dangerous relationship plays out against an approaching war to the death between humankind and the vampire clans.

The Greyfriar is the first book in a trilogy of high adventure and alternate history. Combining rousing pulp action with steampunk style, the Vampire Empire series brings epic political themes to life within a story of heartbreaking romance, sacrifice, and heroism.
And Reese Ryan will read from her latest release, LOVE ME NOT...
