Lady Jane's Salon RDU--1 Year Anniversary!

We were so pleased and proud to celebrate Lady Jane's Salon RDU's 1st Anniversary last night!

It's been a fabulous year of fellowship.  We've had a blast uplifting the genre we love, donating to our wonderful charities, welcoming local authors and visitors from afar alike--we've even had some visitors decide to move and become local authors!  We've had a wonderful time mixing writers, readers, booksellers, librarians, industry professionals and all lovers of romance into one happy group once a month!

Last night was no exception!

We were thrilled to welcome Suzanne Kimball to LJS RDU.  Here she is reading from her contemporary Romance, Children of Angels.

Good friend to LJS RDU, Marquita Valentine, was scheduled to read for us last night.  Sudden illness kept her from us--we missed you Marquita!--but our lovely director Ava Stone was smart enough to have her laptop in her car and brave and generous enough to step into the breach!  She charmed us with her reading of My Lord Hercules from the anthology A Season to Remember-- out next week!--and even wounded herself in her spirited rendition!  Thank you, Ava!

And Tammy Falkner rounded out the evening, reading from her debut paranormal Regency, A Lady and Her Magic.  Ask her about Ronald, the garden gnome, and how he can visit you!

Many thanks to all of our readers and attendees over the last year.  We hope the next year is just as fabulous!
